We have upgraded to a 12x8.5 CBCT sensor. Large field of 3D view is now available.
In July 2014, we have upgraded our Vatech CBCT sensor to a the largest available. The current sensor is capable of scanning an image with a cylindrical volume of 12cm in diameter and 8.5 cm in height.
This large 12x8, 3D field of view is sufficiently enough to scan a patient's full upper and lower jaw with one single use. By this we are reducing the number of CT images we have to take, reducing the effective radiation dose that patients receive and raising our diagnostics standards to the next level.
